Unscheduled Work Review Sheet With a Filled Example

Turn an open Job into a specific next decision. This free text worksheet separates work ready to book from work waiting for permission, parts or information. It includes a fictional example and a blank record you can repeat.

Start with a defined review list

Record the date, reviewer and source of the list. Daylane's Unscheduled view helps find open Jobs with no upcoming Visit; it is a working list with loading limits, not a complete historical audit. Reconcile older records separately when completeness matters.

Do not turn every unscheduled item into an appointment. First establish whether it is ready, waiting, declined or awaiting a decision on closure.

Give the dependency a next action

Waiting for parts is a state. Checking the supplier's revised delivery date on Tuesday is an action. Give that action an owner and a review date, then confirm an actual Visit only when its requirements are ready.

  • Keep Job references consistent with the source record.
  • Record why no future Visit is required if closure is appropriate.
  • Review customer commitments before moving or adding a Visit.
