How to Review Open Jobs With No Future Visit

Use Daylane's Unscheduled view to review open work without a current or upcoming Visit, separating ready work, blockers, customer decisions and closure checks.

Review each open Job without a current or upcoming Visit and give it a specific next outcome. Some work is ready to schedule; some is waiting on parts, access or customer approval; some may already be ready to close. A backlog is useful when those differences are visible.

Start with the Job's actual remaining work

Daylane's Unscheduled view describes open Jobs without a current or upcoming Visit. Open the Job to review its scope and history before deciding that it merely needs a calendar slot.

Avoid placeholder commitments

A Job waiting for an unknown delivery date does not need a pretend confirmed Visit. Keep the dependency and next review time in the working record or your follow-up sheet. Reserve attendance when there is a useful, deliverable purpose.

If a customer has already been promised an update, include that deadline in the review. The next operational action may be communication rather than scheduling.

Reconcile beyond the visible working list

The current schedule loader bounds its open-Job and Visit queries, so a large business should not treat one screen as a complete historical audit. Use the relevant records and exports when reconciling a larger ledger, and investigate any discrepancy.

At the end of the review, every examined Job should have a saved outcome or a named next action. Return to unresolved items at the agreed time rather than repeatedly reading the same list without changing anything.
