Fortnightly Service Round Planner for Alternating Weeks

Keep two alternating service rounds clear without treating every fortnight as a calendar month. Use the example dates to establish the pattern, then fill in your actual Visits, occupied time, access and exceptions.

Anchor each round to a real date

The example starts Week A on Monday 7 September 2026 and Week B on Monday 14 September. Week A returns on 21 September, fourteen days after its first date. Check each customer's frequency rather than assuming every customer belongs to the same pattern.

In Daylane Pro+, a weekly recurring pattern with interval two represents a fortnightly cadence. Review the generated Jobs and Visits; the planner itself neither imports a round nor creates a recurring pattern.

Check the whole occupied day

Add service, setup and inbound travel for each Visit. Reserve breaks, final travel, administration and recovery separately so the same journey is not counted twice. Check fixed access before choosing the order.

  • Keep exceptions attached to their specific date.
  • A moved Visit does not by itself decide every later date.
  • Confirm customer timing through the normal workflow after reviewing capacity.
