Plan the journey from the site entrance to the actual work area, not only the drive to the street address. Gates, reception, parking and transfers between buildings can change when service begins. Confirm the relevant access arrangements before offering an arrival time.
Identify the destination inside the property
Record the correct gate or reception point, building, unit and meeting contact. Use customer-approved operational directions and avoid distributing restricted credentials in broadly shared instructions.
| Step | Allowance | If arrival at gate is 09:00 |
|---|---|---|
| Check in at reception | 10 minutes | 09:10 |
| Park and reach Building B | 10 minutes | 09:20 |
| Set up at work area | 10 minutes | 09:30 service start |
Include internal transfers between tasks
Two Jobs at one site may require separate building access or equipment movement. Estimate the transfer rather than treating a shared street address as zero travel. Keep separate Jobs where the scopes and completion decisions are independent.
If the customer provides a narrow access window, clarify whether it applies to the gate, the building or completion of the work. A 09:00 gate arrival does not necessarily meet a 09:00 work-area appointment.
Check the field brief and customer page
In Daylane, use Location details and a clear label to identify the property, then include necessary current attendance directions in Visit instructions. Verify the assigned person's view rather than assuming all Location access notes appear there.
Review the shared Visit page's address and customer instructions before sending it. If the address summary omits an internal building detail needed for attendance, make that instruction clear in the appropriate brief and confirm it with the site contact.
