Open the current agenda while connected, then check the next Visit's time, Customer, address and purpose before leaving. Open the Visit for the detailed attendance instructions. A familiar title or a saved screenshot is not enough to establish that the booking is still current.
Check the next attendance, not just the next calendar block
Daylane's Agenda presents upcoming work with Job references, Customers, times and addresses. Use the Job reference to distinguish similar work. Before navigating, confirm the full destination and any unit or entrance detail in the current brief.
| Check | Question to answer |
|---|---|
| Visit | Is this the current assigned attendance? |
| Time | What is the internal start and customer arrival expectation? |
| Location | Which address and entrance should I use? |
| Instructions | What work and access arrangement are agreed? |
| Next leg | Is there enough travel time after this Visit? |
Open the detail that the agenda summary leaves out
The Agenda includes Job customer instructions. The private Visit detail also includes Visit internal instructions. Location access notes are not automatically included in that detail view, so the scheduler should put essential current access information into the attendance brief.
If the address or scope is ambiguous, ask the scheduler before departure. A maps link can help navigate to a saved address; it cannot confirm that the saved address is the intended property.
Resolve a stale or missing copy
If Daylane says you are offline, treat the page as potentially stale. Its offline copy is read-only and depends on information previously saved on that device. Reconnect and review the current agenda before relying on a change.
Check tomorrow's first Visit before finishing today as well. That gives the scheduler time to resolve missing access or assignment details, while the final pre-departure check catches overnight changes.
