Daylane can save a read-only copy of a team member's assigned agenda on the device used to open it. It is a snapshot, not a live schedule or an offline editing queue. Open Agenda while connected and check the saved-copy message before depending on it away from connectivity.
Know which details are saved
The current saved-copy feature is enabled for the team_member role. It saves the agenda loaded on that device, with a capture time. The offline screen shows the saved time so you can recognise that later changes may be absent.
| Included when available | Not an offline capability |
|---|---|
| Business name, Job title and reference | Creating or editing Jobs |
| Customer name and phone | Verifying later contact changes |
| Date, time and service address | Live rescheduling or reassignment |
| Job customer instructions | All internal Job, Location or Visit notes |
| Call and Maps links | Guaranteed phone or maps connectivity |
Prepare the device before losing connection
Open Agenda online using the device and browser you will take with you. Look for the message that a read-only copy is saved. Private browsing or managed-device settings may prevent local storage, so do not infer success simply because the online page loaded.
The copy is replaced when the eligible agenda is saved again. It is not a complete export of customer history. Protect the device because the snapshot may contain customer and service information.
Use the snapshot with a freshness check
The offline screen warns that details may be stale and changes cannot be saved until Daylane reconnects. If no snapshot exists, it tells you to reconnect and open Agenda first. A phone or maps action still depends on that service working.
After reconnecting, return to the current Agenda and open any affected Visit again. Do not assume that pressing a button while offline queued a reliable update for later. Confirm the saved state before treating work or scheduling changes as recorded.
