What to Check Before Sharing a Customer Visit Page

Review the selected Visit, visible details, recipient and link expiry before sharing a Daylane Visit Page, with a practical release checklist.

Select the correct Visit, inspect the page that will be shared and check the intended recipient before sending its link. A Job can have several attendances, so a correct Job title alone does not prove the link describes the right date or purpose.

Choose and inspect the actual Visit

Daylane's Create Visit Page workflow lets an owner or scheduler select a Visit from the Job. After creating the link, use Open Visit Page to inspect the customer view before copying it into a message.

Understand replacement and expiry

The current sharing form states that the link expires in 30 days and creating another link for the same Visit revokes the old one. If you replace a link, update the intended recipient rather than leaving them with a revoked address.

Do not post private Visit links in public articles, shared demonstrations or unrelated channels. They are intended for the relevant attendance information, not as general marketing URLs.

Review after a material scheduling change

The public page includes the Job title, customer instructions, address and Visit details. Check the page again after changing timing or scope, and communicate the updated expectation through the appropriate channel.

Keep the team's internal brief separate. The customer page does not display all internal notes, and it should not be expanded with private commentary merely to replace an incomplete field handover.
