How the calculation works
Available minutes = working day − breaks − admin and final travel − recovery buffer. Occupied time per Visit = service + setup and pack-up + inbound travel. Divide available minutes by occupied time and round down to whole Visits.
The default example leaves 375 minutes from a 480-minute day. Each Visit occupies 90 minutes, so four Visits fit with 15 additional minutes unallocated. These are illustrative inputs, not recommended work hours or measured service benchmarks.
Count travel once
Include travel into each Visit in the inbound allowance. Reserve the final journey in the daily admin and final travel field. If your business uses a different convention, adjust the inputs consistently so a trip is not counted twice or left out.
What this estimate does not decide
This is an average-based estimate for one person, not route optimisation or a staffing recommendation. Different Visit lengths, fixed access windows and shared attendance can reduce the feasible total. It does not calculate revenue, wages, legal work-hour limits or safe staffing levels.
